Checklist for Preparing an Apartment for Photography

Photos are the first thing a potential buyer or tenant sees.
The better the home is prepared, the more attractive it will look.

What to do:

General:

• Clean up

• Remove unnecessary and personal items

Living room / bedroom:

• Make the bed, arrange pillows neatly

• Clear nightstands and tables of clutter

Kitchen:

• Clear countertops of dishes and food

• Leave only essentials (kettle, fruit, flowers)

Bathroom / toilet:

• Remove shampoos, towels, toothbrushes

• Close the toilet lid

On the day of the shoot:

• Prepare the apartment at least 30 minutes before the photographer arrives

• Minimize the number of people present

Avoid:

• Drying racks with clothes, bathroom rugs

• Magnets/stickers on the fridge

• Documents and valuables in sight
