Checklist for Preparing an Apartment for Photography
Proper home staging helps sell a property faster and at a higher price.
It is important to create a bright, cozy, and neutral atmosphere so that buyers can imagine themselves living in the space.
On the day of the photoshoot:
Please prepare the apartment 30 minutes before the photographer arrives and minimize the presence of people in the space.
The photoshoot takes up to 60 minutes, depending on the condition of the apartment.
Please plan your time accordingly.
If the apartment is not prepared in advance, additional time will be required to remove unnecessary items and prepare the space for photography.
KITCHEN
Remove: pet bowls, unnecessary appliances, sponges, cleaning products, alcohol, fridge magnets.
LIVING ROOM
Remove: family photos, toys, cables, small personal items.
BEDROOM
Remove: personal items, photos, items from shelves and windowsills.
BATHROOM
Remove: hygiene products, cosmetics, electrical devices, laundry baskets.
OTHER ROOMS
Home office: remove papers and folders.
Hallway: remove shoes and outerwear.
Children’s room: remove extra toys, make the bed, tidy the desk.
